Digital Marketing Writer/CMS Specialist Job ID#: 19-0703 Department: Admissions Job Type: Staff - Full-time Date Posted: Wed, 03 Jul 2019 Position Fill Date: Open until filled Reports to: Director of Marketing Job Summary Essential Responsibilites Minimum Requirements Application Instructions Job Summary (Return to top) The Prescott College Marketing team seeks a seasoned digital storyteller to attract and inform student prospects to our undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will collaborate with Admissions, Faculty and our Global Centers to create a cohesive content platform across websites, social media, email and offline marketing pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and maintaining a content calendar to ensure all content is timely and relevant across our web-based properties and offline collateral. It is essential that this candidate have a strong editorial background with attention to detail, accuracy and gramm ar . The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record of editorial best practices, interviewing, writing and keeping an up-to-date calendar of content projects, launch and end dates. Demonstrated ability within content management platforms, email tools, messaging platforms and social media tools. Essential Responsibilities (Return to top) Works with the Director of Marketing on establishing and refining the overall content strategy and distribution of content across content platforms Develops new content start to finish and publishes via web, email and social media Responsible for adherence and adjustments to the overall communications plan working directly with the Director of Marketing and the Admissions team on strategy refinement Writes with knowledge of the brand voice and establishes persuasive content across channels Maintains content calendar Minimum Requirements (Return to top) Bachelor's degree in English, marketing or journalism Minimum of 3 years of experience in content management Excellent command of written English Knowledge of content management platforms (Drupal preferred) Familiarity working within a CMS (Slate preferred) Experience working with diverse communities and audiences Preferred Qualifications Multimedia marketing or ad agency experience Knowledge of SEO friendly copy Familiarity with digital marketing best practices Bilingual in Spanish
