Corporate - Intern Job Locations US-TX-Houston Associate Requisition ID Tutino_Intern2019 # of Openings 1 Category (Portal Searching) Corporate Type Full-Time Postal 77019 Overview & Responsibilities We currently have an opening for a full time Internship in our Corporate Alliances department located in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Corporate Alliances department including, but not limited to: reporting, data collection, marketing collateral, and field communication. This position requires a minimum of a year long commitment. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support in all aspects of Affinity Program Management including but not limited to: Support team by conducting analytics and reporting results on a bi-weekly basis Gathering data and other information from a variety of internal and external sources Assist in launching new and existing programs in various markets throughout the company Communicate with internal and external customers Update and create collateral and marketing tools needed to communicate with field, partners and consumers Strengthen the department's internal and field relationship by communicating with field teams on a regular basis and collect information on their partnership activity Requirements & Qualifications EDUCATION Undergraduate senior, currently working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing Graduate student, currently working towards MBA is preferred EXPERIENCE One year of progressive experience in a corporate business environment Administrative experience Experience with Access and Excel SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong analytical and reporting skills Exceptional knowledge of MS Office; specifically Word, Access and Excel (pivot tables) Exceptional written and oral communication skills Creative, Innovative mindset with the ability to suggest new processes High level of attention to detail Proven ability to plan, organize and direct multiple programs and activities Proven ability to work independently and take initiative Keen sense of judgment and tact Ability to problem solve with very little direction Ability to recognize and respond to the differing management skills of individuals Ability for some travel if necessary Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week COMPETENCIES Display Adaptability Actively supports change initiatives Quickly adapts to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change Achieve Results Balances time, resources and quality requirements to achieve business goals Sets high standards of performance for self and others Drives the achievement of agreed-upon results Communicate Effectively Conveys information clearly and concisely in written and spoken communication Listens effectively and provides frequent feedback Creates environment in which team members share information openly and honestly Makes effective and motivating presentations Promote Innovation Encourages and generates new ways to look at processes and problems Identifies cost savings and revenue opportunities Generates and champions new ideas and initiatives Collaborate with Others Utilizes optimal level of collaboration with team members to achieve business goals Shares credit with others for their contributions Celebrates team successes Build Productive Relationships (Internal / External) Relates well to people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives Maintains composure and constructive relationships even under difficult circumstances SCI Overview Who we are.
