Students will participate the Fall Delaware North Internship Program that includes: Fall Intern Orientation Career and Leadership Competency Development Plan Peer and Leadership Mentoring and Coaching Lunch-and-Learn Intern Series Internship opportunities are available at our global headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y., an iconic, 12-story glass-walled building in the vibrant hub of the new and historic Buffalo. The headquarters integrates the latest advances in environmental energy conservation and office design and features cutting-edge technology. Fall internship dates generally span: September 16 th December 6 th , 2019* Hours: 20 hours per week Pay: $12 per/hour for undergraduate students $17 per/hour for graduate students Must be a current student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program * Duration of the fall internship is between 10 to 14 weeks The Opportunity Learning Objectives & Goals: Learn how to perform financial analysis by compiling financial data and organizing into a presentable format Understand how his/her analysis affects the businesss results and is used to make decisions Become familiar with the businesss finance systems and how to extract data from them Build upon his/her Microsoft Excel skills Responsibilities/Scope: Data extraction and analysis, conversion of that data into a presentable format to be used by Management Development of Excel based templates to assist with more efficient creation of routine data requests Skill/Competence Development: Financial analysis skills Financial systems competencies Communication skills Microsoft Excel skills Requirements: Pursuing a Degree : Bachelors Area of Study(s): Finance or Accounting Software/Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel and Word Other Skills or Experience: Save
