Job Description As a member of our Whole Body Team, your role will include stocking and facing products, maintaining the Whole Body floor and displays, and selling product in support of Regional Whole Body standards. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service to customers and team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. - Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping shelves and displays clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products. - Understand why our products are different than conventional stores and explain differences to customers. - Replenish products through proper buying procedures. - Sample department products to customers. - Log and process customer special orders and retrieve special orders for customers by request. - Maintain accurate department signage and pricing. - Stay informed by reading daily communication log or department updates from Leadership. - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and regulations including DSHEA (Dietary Supplement and Health and Education Act), Weights and Measures, ABC regulations, FDA, Department of Labor, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices - Make sure temp logs, sweep logs and sanitation logs are completed when applicable - Document product transfers, waste and spoilage using appropriate forms. - Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment - Successfully complete in store training program - Attend all team and store meetings as assigned by Team or Store Leadership. - Support global, regional and store programs - Answer department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette - All other assigned duties by Team Leader and / or Store Leadership. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation - Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors. - Strong work ethic and integrity - Working understanding of and compliance with all WFM policies and procedures. - Proper use of equipment, which may include but are not limited to: knives, box cutters, personal protective equipment, hand trucks, six wheel carts, pallet jacks, forklift and baler (must be 18 years of age or older for both) and all other equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and store. - Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency. Working Conditions: - Constant Interruptions - Some exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals. - May be exposed to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness - May walk and work on uneven surfaces - May need to use a ladder or stool to reach product or supplies. - Exposure to continuous background and occasional loud noises. - Any item over 40 pounds requires a team lift.
