Medical Economics Manager IMC Health Medical Center - Miami, FL2.5 Full-timeEstimated: $70,000 - $96,000 a year Save Education * Bachelor's Degree Skills * SQL * 401(k) * Power BI * Microsoft Word * Business Analysis Benefits * Flexible Spending Account * Food Provided * Health Insurance * Paid Time Off * Parental Leave The Manager of Medical Economics will oversee the performance data and analyze results for our market practices in order to assist in better managing patient care, coding and billing efficiencies, increase financial results and improve ratings with insurance affiliate clients. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Serve as a market expert and consultant for data analytics and trends * Track performance of KPI (Key Performance Indicators: financials/ operational) for his/her areas * Leverage data analytics to develop, test, and track multi-pronged strategies within the markets * Plays an active role in market strategy and planning and presents insights and suggestions to Senior and Executive management * Manages team process of physician consulting for performance metrics * Analyzes opportunities to make current process flow and applications more efficient by automating or improving data feeds, controls and reports * Perform data analysis to support evaluation of system defects or to develop requirements for new functionality; triage and troubleshoot complex user-reported system defects * Analyzes other existing technologies and applications in the market (third parties) that can help CSE to improve its business, (i.e. deliver services and information to its markets in a faster and more efficient way) makes recommendations for process improvements * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelors degree with a major in quantitative fields such as Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, preferred * Minimum 3 years of experience in a business analysis capacity * Mastery of Microsoft office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and is efficient in the production of content * Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills * Strong organizational skills (e.g., prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and follow long-term projects to completion) * Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) * Expert in Microsoft Excel, particular emphasis on data analysis * Software Programming skills is a plus * Healthcare industry and Medicare knowledge preferred * Ability to create or automate process with data is a strong plus (e.g., data driven websites, Programming skills, Power BI, deep knowledge of macros, SQL, etc.) * Prior experience in consulting, banking or healthcare required * Risk Adjusted Coding knowledge or certification a plus IMC Health prides itself in offering its associates the following: * Competitive Salaries * Bonus Incentives for ALL Employees * 401K Matching Program * Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance * Paid Time Off * Holidays Off EEOE M/F/Veterans/Disabled Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Retirement plan * Paid time off * Flexible schedule Benefits offered: * Paid time off * Parental leave * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Healthcare spending or reimbursement accounts such as HSAs or FSAs * Other types of insurance * Retirement benefits or accounts * Employee discounts * Flexible schedules * Workplace perks such as food/coffee and flexible work schedules Save
