You will assist the HR department including recruiting, on-boarding, record-keeping and general administrative support.

This internship is being offered out of our NYC office, located just across the street from Grand Central station. Schedule, hours and duration are flexible.
What your day-to-day may look like:
Creating and updating organizational chartsCreating, maintaining and updating reportsMaintaining and auditing I-9 formsInputting and preparing pre-separation/separation communications in systems and formsMaintaining the performance review system and templates and supplying completion status updatesMaintaining and auditing employment recordsMay answer and research routine questions from employees, related to policies, benefits, forms, records and practicesProviding backup and support to the HR teamPerforming other duties assigned
Minimum Required: High School Diploma
Other Required: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Administration/Management completed or in progress
Internship experience in Human Resources or Administrative fieldRelevant experience in HR supporting one or more of the following; Advertising or Communications Agency, Pharmaceutical company or high growth start-up/entrepreneurial environment
Knowledge of HR best practicesFamiliar with HR software systemsIntermediate MS Office Suite skills
Aptitude to learnStrong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on delivering customer serviceDemonstrates sound business judgement and handles sensitive issues with discretionAble to prioritize and manage multiple projects with efficiency and accuracyWorks cooperatively with others to achieve common goalsThe ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with others inside or outside of the organization who can provide information, assistance, and supportCommitted to personal career development
