HR Summer or Fall Intern Job Description
The primary function will be Talent Acquisition and onboarding assistance.
The intern will:
Source applicants using my LinkedIn profile and Indeed resume for open positions
Screen resumes for the required experience we are looking for with applicants
Schedule phone interviews with the applicants and coordinate with the Office Manager and the HR Director
Check references for candidates
Assist with processing background checks and MVRs
Assist with the onboarding process with creating offer letters and non-compete paperwork and emailing to candidates with the benefits packet and a standard boiler plate email
Filling out the proper documentation to ensure the Office Manager has what she needs to order the appropriate equipment and business cards for positions and coordinating with VP of Operations to set up email.
Coordinating with new hires to get a picture to populate the standard new hire announcement in my canva account and posting to social media.
Ensuring all documents are uploaded into their file prior to starting
Assisting with oversight on the applicant tracking system to make sure Managers are moving candidates through the systems, are closing and opening jobs appropriately, ensuring all applicants are tracked.
Other duties as assigned
Interns will need to apply on the InternNE website and will need to be willing to fill out the verification forms for internship tax credit.
