The strategy/planning intern is responsible for immersing themselves in the worlds of our consumers, IRL and by scouring web and third-party tools to uncover the type of insights that inspire creativity, identify relevant trends and inform game-changing recommendations. This position will be expected to start on 9/30/19 as part of our fall internship class. Responsibilities: * Assist in primary and secondary research; familiarity with secondary research tools is a bonus (Simmons, Mintel, ComScore, Quid) * Ask informative questions to drive project assignments and gain client/ account understanding * Distill information into easily digestible summaries, separating insights from facts, and articulating them in a narrative that is clear, relatable, and memorable * Coordinate projects with creative and analytically-minded colleagues Qualifications Essential Skills: * Curious, culture-savvy and adept at social media * A bachelors degree from a four-year college or university that includes coursework in advertising, business, sociology, anthropology, psychology you know, human behavior * An understanding of, and interest in, qualitative and quantitative research * The ability to effectively filter information and separate key insights from facts * Strong written and verbal communication a storyteller with the power to captivate, convince, and compel others to action Why Weber Shandwick: Weber Shandwicks full-time internship program is a 16-week paid opportunity for you to gain valuable experience supporting teams and helping clients solve business problems.
