Assist the tax manager with government initiated tax audits Preparation of Federal/State income tax returns including preparing state apportionment workpapers, Federal/State depreciation workpapers, permanent/temporary book/tax difference workpapers, estimated tax payments and extensions Preparation of personal property tax returns, excise tax returns and other business tax returns Preparation of sales/use returns including a detailed analysis of randomly selected invoices, researching sales/use tax laws, preparing quarterly error analysis report by plant and updating the sales/use tax manuals. Track resale exemption certificates by sending out letters to customers, verifying the accuracy of exemption certificates received and maintaining database Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing Bachelors in Finance, Economics or related field.
