Event Management Summer Internship Dim Events, LLC - Chicago, IL 23 hours agoPart-timeEstimated: $28,000 - $36,000 a year Education * High School Diploma or GED Skills * Events Management Benefits * Work From Home DIM EVENTS, LLC is looking to build and learn from students in the Chicagoland area by providing an internship with an event management focus. If you are that person who is constantly being plan friends and family outings, exploring different events in Chicago, and love to grab a large group of friends out to cool events. This internship may be for you! This is not your typical office internship; you have the ability to work from home and will be asked to meet 2-3 times a week with the owners and event teams to go over tasks and duties. Responsibilities & Duties: * Assist with the backend process of events and production * Coordinate VIP reservations and amenities * Assist with all company events * Creating and updating Event Orders for Sales as needed * Have the chance to pitch/create an event idea Qualifications: * College Student or recent college grad * Interest in events * Ability to handle multiple tasks * Professional and Polished * Enthusiastic * Flexible scheduled * Detail oriented * Good researching skills * Strong writing skills * Strong communication skills Internship Takeaways * Learn the ins and outs of events * Beginning Stages: brainstorming process * Middle: Event curating/vendor acquisition * End: Event execution/problem solving * Client event analysis * Applying client branding to event creation process * Creating the client story of what is being portrayed in the event * Experience at least 1 Client Meeting Job Types: Part-time, Internship Experience: * Event Management: 1 year (Preferred) Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Hours per Week: * 11-20 (Preferred) Hours per week: * 10-19 * 20-29 Overtime often available: * No Internship Compensation: * College Credit
