Publicity Specialist University of Notre Dame, United States Updated: about 9 hours ago Location: Notre Dame, INDIANA Job Type: FullTime Deadline: Position Information Job Title Publicity Specialist Job Description The University of Notre Dames McGrath Institute for Church Life, an academic unit focused on Catholic leadership development and Church engagement, is accepting applications from qualified communications professionals to serve as Publicity Specialist. Working with a team of communication specialists and the Program Director of Communications, this person is responsible for promoting McGrath events and programs by coordinating publicity in online and offline formats (radio, print, social media, email, etc.). In support of the institutes content marketing approach, the publicity assistant will work with the communications team to coordinate the distribution of high quality web articles and resources designed to attract Catholic leaders to the Institutes events and programming and form lasting relationships with them through ongoing engagement via email and social media. This is an opportunity for a qualified individual to work in a dynamic environment where digital media platforms are being used in an innovative way to communicate with Catholics in the Church and in the culture. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree (4 years). 1-2 years experience in communications or related field. Preferred Qualifications Graphic design skills preferred. Experience working with Catholic media preferred. Ability to work with files in InDesign, Photoshop and/or other design software. Proficiency in Spanish and photography skills a plus.
