Fabtex specializes in Custom apparel decoration focusing of the highest of quality. Our clients range for sports license apparel, retail clothing lines, team sports, band merchandise, promotional productions, etc. We have a great team with a family atmosphere and emphasis our culture as a very important component. We're seeking a full-time candidate who is excited about the opportunity to take our screen printing department to the next level. This position is is ideally suited for someone with at least 1 year in a screen-printing environment with hands-on experience with screen printing production. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the duties involved in screen printing. These duties include performing all duties involved in the Screen Printing department; including but not limited to: cleaning screens; coating screens; exposing screens; reclamation process; setting up 1 to 6 color jobs on an auto and manual machines; screen-printing on both auto and manual machine. Key Responsibilities: * Set up/complete jobs according to work orders and tear down screens efficiently * Check production equipment to ensure proper machine set up, registration, ink viscosity and color * Run, adjust and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery * Ensures that work is performed in a consistent manner that results in defect free products * Ensures accurate quantities are produced at the right quality * Maintaining a clean and organized work environment * Keeping within timescales for production as set by Production Management * Monitor and corrects any problems that may occur during the press run to minimize downtime and waste * Maintain acceptable productivity, quality, spoilage and ensures product meets project specifications * Clean equipment * Help maintain inventory of screen-printing supplies; organize inks and keep the ink area clean Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * High school diploma or G.E.D. * 1 to 2 years of experience in a screen printing environment * Must be detail oriented * Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office (i.e., MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, etc.) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to read and write in English * Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, in an effective, timely and professional manner, where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal * Team-oriented operating style, positive (can-do) attitude, self-motivated * Ability to work as a team member in a highly collaborative environment * Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well * Basic maintenance Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift 50 pounds * Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp * Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours * Ability to stand 8 hours and complete 800-1500 garments daily Benefits: * Health benefits offered after 60 days * Vacation and Sick Days * 7 Paid Holidays a year Fabtex Graphics is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to promoting a culturally diverse workforce Position is 8:00 am to 5:00pm (Monday-Friday).
