Notes to Applicants The Austin Fire Department ( AFD ) Research and Data Analytics Division is looking to fill a Research Analyst Intern position. The fall internship will begin August 19, 2019 and end December 06,2019. This position will be responsible for conducting statistical analysis to provide accurate data to Supervisors and Fire Personnel. This position is critical in helping administrators make informed, data-driven decision. About Research and Data Analytics: Research and Data Analytics provides information and guidance on performance measure reporting, response time analyses, development of Standards of Coverage, automatic aid agreements with surrounding Emergency Service Districts (ESDs) and annexations. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from High School or equivalent, plus one (1) year of experience or three (3) of education related to the job. Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with major course work in Planning, Geography, Social Science, or related fields. Must be considered in good academic standing by college/university standards. Pay Range 15.00 per hour Hours 15 20 hours per week with some flexibility Job Close Date
