Trainer Palermo Frozen Pizza Products Milwaukee, WI Job Description PURPOSE OF POSITION Under the direction of the Training Supervisor, the trainer will be responsible for developing training materials and training team members on job specific tasks to build efficient and effective teams. This includes working with supervisors to create training plans and conducting evaluations of team members performance. The trainer will also be heavily involved in the installation of new equipment, including attending FATs and creating operational materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES � Work with supervisors to document SOPs, One Point Lessons, and SOCs for existing and new equipment. � Observe and audit work to make necessary changes to documentation or processes. � Train and monitor team member performance and provide constant communication to supervisors on their progress. � Conduct classroom training sessions when necessary. � Track training activities in Alchemy Manager and Coach App. � Assist with trials of materials and equipment installation to develop training documentation. � Work with teammates and other departments to make recommendations on how to improve operations to optimize production. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES � Technical understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred food experience). � Learn and understand all current and new equipment to a high level of detail. � Learn and become proficient in NAV & RedZone Programs � Effectively train team members in a production or classroom environment. � Possess strong troubleshooting skills. � Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required, bilingual preferred. � Flexibility of work schedule to support all 3 shifts when needed. � Strong ability to independently plan and organize work. � Ability to work with minimal supervision. � Ability to understand and set an example of company culture and policies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE � English Proficiency required, Bi-lingual preferred. � Proficient at Microsoft Office suite � Mechanical and troubleshooting experience � Experience creating and utilizing SOPs, SOCs, and One Point Lessons.
