Job Description: Machine Shop Apprentice Seeking hard working, highly motivated self-starter who is interested in learning the fundamentals of a machine shop. This FT position requires good planning skills and the ability to think ahead. Opportunity for growth and transfer to machining operations. Required Skills: * Good mechanical aptitude * Excellent computer skills * Good with mechanical functions * Enjoy working with your hands and being part of a team * Excellent attention to detail * Quick learner with a positive attitude and desire to succeed * General knowledge of shop and measurement tools * Proficient in Shop Math * Great attendance and attitude * Prior handyman, machining, welding, or shop experience a bonus Primary Job Functions: * Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality * Cleaning and maintenance of shop and machines * Operate various machinery * Deburring * Bandsaw * Drill press * Cut material accurately and on-time, and safely * Organizing material shelves Experience is a plus, however, looking for a highly motivated individual.
