Job Description The Office of Development is seeking a Development Coordinator, Social Media to join their dynamic team. The Development Coordinator, Social Media will manage all aspects of social media for the Development office with a main focus on MSKs Fundraising Events: Cycle for Survival, Freds Team, and Kids Walk for MSK Kids. This is an exciting time to join our team, which is rapidly innovating and expanding our events and communications strategy. The Development Coordinator, Social Media will work with colleagues at MSK and in Development marketing, communications, creative, and recruitment and fundraising teams to help meet goals, differentiate MSK as the world leader in cancer care and research, and continually strengthen and grow our outstanding communities. **Please include cover letter, resume, social media and writing samples in one PDF***You Will:Manage all social media pages Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn for MSKs three Fundraising EventsCreate social media content calendars and champion the day-to-day social media workflow of content ideation, creation, posting, and analysisLead online community management including social listening and engagement strategiesDevelop and execute social media advertising plansMonitor, report, and make ongoing recommendations to improve communications through data and insights Collaborate with creative and communications teams to meet the programs recruitment and fundraising goals through compelling contentSupport the Fundraising Events and Marketing & Communications team in various other projects as needed, e.g., influencer, video, sponsorship, website, marketing, and email You Are: A strategic thinker who enjoys unearthing insights from dataDetail oriented, very organized, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with enthusiasm and efficiency in a fast-paced environmentA skilled writer and content creator with a knack for adapting copy and tactics based on the audience, goals, program, tone, voice, and platform Passionate about storytelling, proactive in sharing your ideas, and consistently challenging yourselfA positive, collaborative team player who takes significant pride in individual success, helping others, as well as the success of the teamInnovative and constantly curious about social media and content marketing trends, platforms, and best practicesYou Have: A Bachelor's degree Minimum 2-4 years work experience in social mediaDigital marketing and communications backgroundStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsExcellent project management skills Proven experience tailoring content for different platforms and audiencesWorking knowledge of Google AnalyticsFundraising and development experience is a plus #LI-POST Closing MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
