At TradeStation, our interns are key players in our daily innovation and have the opportunity to make big contributions. We use cutting edge technologies to provide our customers with state of the art market analysis tools and order execution. Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment. Responsibilities: The WebAPI exists to provide easy access to core TradeStation services from a variety of modern tools and platforms. Our application now supports 10,000 users per day. We are expanding into the Japanese equity market and are planning tremendous growth. With this growth we need better metrics and analytics so that we can plan for growth and make the right decisions at the right time. Assist with projects to expand usage metrics and analysis utilities Assist the team with making data-driven decisions that can reduce risk and ensure focus on the right problems at the right time Skills, Education & Experience: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field Ability to pick up new programming/scripting languages quickly Programming experience a plus Strong problem-solving abilities Self-learner who can pick up knowledge through self-study Eager to learn and try new things Results-oriented mindset; interns will be solving real problems for real customers Willingness to work as a team to achieve results Eager to share with and learn from others Ability to work independently, yet to be humble enough to ask questions and to receive/respond to feedback about performance Visa sponsorship not offered Candidate should be within one (1) year of graduating
