To learn more please visit www.altair.com Crash & Safety CAE Engineer Duties include: Constructing detail finite element models for high and low speed load cases to internal quality guidelines. Pull latest CAD data in Teamcenter/Catia databases. Use CAE tools to provide balanced, efficient solutions regards to performance, mass, manufacturing, assembly considerations. Build and/or assist in updating crash models as required at and between major releases. Check crash models in OASIS/Primer, run crash load cases using Dyna3D. Document appropriately in excel/word/power-point formats all results, models & associated changes. Provide timely updates as required, participate in regular team meetings, provide feedback to team lead as required. Provide input to creating test requests and participate as needed in test activities. Crash & Safety CAE Engineer
