Job Summary: The DataAnalytics & Issues Reporting Analyst will be responsible for identifying,monitoring and analyzing data quality within the bank and through the issuesmanagement program. This role will provide reliable, accurate and timelyreporting to communicate open issues to business unit risk manager and seniormanagement. Role will periodically pull data from source systems, analyze datafrom monitoring reports to understand trends and identify emerging issues,review open issues owned by Financial Management of the Americas and sharedissues with other partners. You will confirm adherence to policies andprocedures as well as identify potential control gaps, develop businessrequirements to build reports that remediate discovered issues/gaps, and auditcontrol reports to verify data accuracy. As part of thisrole, you will work closely with stakeholders, and evaluate data to confirmcompleteness and accuracy of open issues management reporting, and recognizeand highlight inconsistencies in regular reports and observations for internaland regulatory governance. In addition, the analyst will help facilitatecommunication and reporting to different audience levels. Does this soundlike you? Major Responsibilities: You will be responsiblefor the following key deliverables, in addition to other ad hoc tasks: Provide monthly Issues reporting for Financial Management of Americas & Weekly Issues Reporting for Treasury Extract issues data from OpenPages and other manual files, conduct a detailed review/analysis to determine data trends and develop executive reports You will collaborate with various business divisions to resolve any data discrepancies identified Quarterly Risk Appetite MetricsStatement: You will communicate with various data providers to obtain quarterly risk appetite metrics and complete a thorough review of the metrics to ensure accuracy and completeness Conduct follow-ups for any risk metrics that are in breach of the defined threshold, and obtain a rationale for the breach; raise to management of any breaches Analyze large volumes of data to depict trends and present point-in-time statistics Develop reports for issues management and risk reporting at various frequencies for executive review Correspond with various business groups to obtain qualitative updates for inclusion within the reports Correspond with various business organizations to reconcile data reported Track statuses for various issues and raise any foreseeable concerns to Financial Management of Americas (FMA) Business Unit Risk Manager (BURM) 3-5 years demonstrated experience in financial services risk functions You will possess a can do attitude, be detail oriented, and have a strong aptitude for analyzing large, complex data sets to deliver high quality reporting to senior managers Have shown ability to lead multiple priorities, deadlines and time sensitive deliverables. A Deep understanding of evaluating control environment including tests for design and operating effectiveness Familiarity with finance, treasury and accounting business processes Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and work independent Strong data analysis/quantitative/technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new metrics, processes, and data sets Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of management Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications required (including Pivot Tables, complex IF statements, V-Lookups, etc.) Knowledge of Open Pages/GRC Platform is helpful The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed.
