SSF is looking for a creative, aspiring marketing intern to assist us in implementing and executing marketing campaigns. This is a paid internship with a combination of hands-on design, writing, and marketing campaign support. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, and because a portion of the work can be completed remotely, candidates must be comfortable communicating via phone, IM, video call and reaching out when questions arise. The ideal candidate is creative, efficient, organized, with the ability to stay focused in changing environments, receive feedback, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines. Responsibilities: Design collateral, PowerPoint templates, signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc. Clean up sales proposals and presentations Provide support to social media efforts Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials Update CRM and Excel files Draft copy for blog posts, announcements, emails, and events The ability to wear many hats and perform a variety of tasks, whether its data mining or designing a new brochure Details: Paid, part-time (approximately 20 hours per week), 6-month position Two days in person, and three days remote For consideration, please apply here with your resume, include a link to your design portfolio and if applicable, writing samples. Qualifications Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with special emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and programs, such as CRM A thorough understanding of major social networks (LinkedIn and Twitter) Special consideration is given to candidates who possess skills and experience in one or more of the following: Writing w/ the ability to research and write about complex topics SEO WordPress / HTML Marketing automation systems
