Turn your job into a career by joining Main Line Health! Title: Gift Shop Associate Essential Accountabilities: May act as Shop Manager when manager is unavailable during operation hours. Provides excellent customer service to customers. Acknowledge customers as they enter gift shop and assists them ensuring their visit is a pleasant experience. Check in merchandise and mark according to purchase orders. Keep shop appearance well maintained. Straightens merchandise, puts merchandise out on selling floor in a neat and visually attractive manner. Helps maintain shops displays and overall cleanliness of shop. Ensures that placement of merchandise on floor does not create a safety hazard. Ensures day sheet summaries and cash draw balance. Handles customer problems in a pleasant professional manner. Communicate to manager customer requests and problems that occur. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School graduate preferred: ability to read, understand and follow directions in English required. WORKING CONDITIONS: 6-8 hours standing/walking. Ability to bend, lift and carry 20lbs to various locations.
