Exponents Insta USAis seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team right here in San Diego. The right candidate will get to be apart of our newly expanding network as we branch out in the pursuit of providing our clients with the best service possible.
Exponents specialize in the design, build and deliverance of quality custom and modular rental exhibits within the Trade Show Industry. We pride ourselves on our creative design, unique exhibit systems along with our transparency in cost and our packaged prices
The person who fills this position will be expected to provide high-quality customer service as they will act as the liaison between the client and multiple department heads within the company (Production, Graphics, Shipping, etc). They will require extreme attention to detail have impressive time management skills and show strong organizational skills in order to strategically drive projects and successfully meet deadlines.
Must be able to manage all aspects of multiple jobs at the same time. Details include, but not limited to, production of accurate estimates of exhibit construction, graphics, field services, shipping, and I&D. Management of labor, collaboration with Account Executives and Account Managers, and in the field supervision.
As the main point of contact between the company and client, you must use the utmost care when handling client communication and concerns to ensure the highest level of service is provided. You must understand, analyze and evaluate all company practices that may impact the client's experience and adjust them accordingly. You will be expected to provide support from pre-contract through to the close of the project and ensure the client's vision and needs is met by our production team.
You may also be required to travel from time to time should the need arise.
Responsibilities include but are not limited too: -
Prepare, log and communicate the details of each scheduled project.
Work closely with Production Managers and various departments heads to schedule resources.
Review and ensure accuracy in design and detailed drawings.
Coordinate with production and logistics as it relates to the installation and shipping of materials.
Determine and communicate project timelines based on client needs and manufacturing lead times.
Communicate project details, change orders and scheduling to the production team throughout the fulfillment process.
Assist the client with the ordering of show services and guide them in the process and procedures used within the Trade Show Industry.
Order local Labor, Rigging and provide required documentation.
Purchase carpet, rent furniture if requested.
Maintain quality control by providing final checks during warehouse set up prior to shipping.
Desired Skills and Experience.
Two to three years of experience in the trade show, exhibit, the event industry is essential.
Some level of training or continuing education class work related to the Project Management field.
Knowledge of typical Office software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to anticipate issues, identifying future choke points and working ahead of time to alleviate potential issues.
Serve as a multitasking team player that works well with others in a fast paced and high energy environment.
