Construction Management Intern Brighton, MI; Grand Rapids, MI Our Michigan Division is looking to hire students for full-time Construction Management Internship opportunities at the Brighton and Grand Rapids, MI office for Summer 2019. We offer opportunities to work on a variety of transportation projects with public and private clients. The Impact You Will Have: Preparation of plans, specifications, and project designs utilizing CAD and integrated design software Assisting with field assignments including construction observation and surveying assistance Conducting research as necessary to project(s) Perform clerical tasks as assigned What You Will Need: Current undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor of Science in an applicable engineering field or construction management area MDOT experience and/or certifications a plus Must be flexible with schedule, allowing weekend work, working out-of-town if necessary, and overnight stays Must be willing to travel 70% of the time Must be willing to work outside in good and inclement weather Familiarity with CAD integrated software Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Possess an excellent work ethic Great organization and prioritization abilities Good driving record and valid drivers license Alfred Benesch & Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action/ Disability/ Protected Veteran Employer.
