We are seeking a 6 month Co-op/Intern to join us in the July/August time frame. As an Engineering Co-Op you will gain invaluable hands-on experience working with the best and brightest in the industry. You will have the ability to apply your knowledge of engineering principles in areas related to drafting, documentation, machine design, and analysis for assorted projects in the manufacture of precision photolithography equipment for the IC industry. Responsibilities Work with manufacturing to build and document prototype assemblies. Create assembly procedures to capture design intent and requirements for lithography system sub-assemblies. Create and edit ECNs and BoMs using MRP system. Create and edit assembly drawings, design layouts, functional block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, wire run lists, wiring diagrams, cable assembly drawings and wire harness drawings using AutoCAD/Inventer or MS Office tool. Participate in release reviews for sub-assemblies procedures. Prepare design verification test plans and complete tests. Model new components and assemblies using Inventor CAD software. Help train another intern at the end of assignment. Reports to Hardware Engineering Manager. Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent progress towards Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. Ability to create and modify assembly level AutoCAD/Inventor and Word Documents utilizing verbal or written instructions and existing documentation. CAD experience with drafting and solid modeling. Capable of using common Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Capable of creating bills of materials, assembly drawings and assembly procedures for completed assemblies. Knowledge of commonly used Mechanical/Electrical Engineering concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to create and perform test plans and procedures for new designs. Ability to work with common assembly tools and measurement tools. Machining, PCB rework, or cable fabrication experience is good but not required. Able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position. AutoCAD Inventor modeling and detail drafting skills preferred. Save
