Overall Responsibilities:Public Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for Early Intervention Projects based out of our Nashville office to serve as a key player in achieving business objectives within our Human Services practice area. The Senior Accountant is expected to provide the project team with a variety of tasks including fiscal operation support fiscal oversight and banking and payment systems support. The individual will lead various fiscal tasks and reporting for quality assurance checks and banking functions. Specific Responsibilities:Specifically, the Senior Accountant will:Learn the PCG systems and become a Subject Matter Expert - SME of the systemsBe responsible for maintaining adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposesResponsible for learning Payment Rules of the system to ensure ability to respond to customer inquiriesCommunicate with Program Management on regular basis, ensuring program goals and tasks are metProvide suggestions for continuing improvement of program performanceParticipate in internal and external meetings related to program performanceAssist with special projects as assignedDefine project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Plan, estimate, schedule and track fiscal tasks using appropriate tools.Use and refine best practices and tools for project execution and management.Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.Coordinate with business stakeholders (e.g. product owner) on priorities.Lead and guide the work of others, in-line with established priorities to ensure team members are working on the right items in the right order.Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams and functions in preparation for code promotion activities.
