Position Description Are you self-motivated with the desire to learn and grow quickly? We are looking for a problem solver that is constantly and consistently looking to improve. Working in our Application Development team will allow you to gain experience with various applications, projects and business teams. As a Junior Applications Developer, yoursquo;ll have an opportunity to grow your skill set working on a varying range of applications. You will be required to maintain existing web applications as well as assisting with the expansion of larger projects. Applied Medical offers a fun and flexible work environment that is unique and rewarding. As a member of our Applications Development team, responsibilities include: Work in collaboration with other departments to deliver solutions to meet their business needs Work with our in-house UI designers to create elegant, intuitive (mostly web-based) software applications Write and debug server-side code, primarily in C# Assist with designing scalable SQL databases Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework, Javascript, and Ajax Understanding of relational design and SQL Excellent debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills Self-management skills including organization and time management Good verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred: A Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study 1+ years experience developing full life cycle websites from conception to completion preferred.
