Welcome students who walk in to the office and facilitate their meeting with the advisers, set up advising appointments for students, keep control of the waiting room , errands, filing, typing; additional related duties as assigned. Job Category Federal Work Study Desired Qualifications Knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Access Preferred. Ability to take directions and work independently as needed. Ability to work in a team setting and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, good organizational and problem solving skills, ability to interact effectively with students, parents and general public. Who May Apply Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study as part of their Financial Aid Award package. Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate.
