Crew Member Swan Lake Event Center - Powell, OH Part-timeEstimated: $12,000 - $17,000 a year Save Skills * Time Management * Clean Driving Record * Driver's License BASIC FUNCTION: The Event Crew Member is a part-time employee expected to represent Swan Lake as a friendly, enthusiastic, customer service driven member of the team. Ideal candidates will have the ability to follow detailed instructions, have great attention to detail, and are able to work with limited supervision. The Event Crew Member plays a crucial role in the success of events held on the property. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and follows directions on the Event Order to set event space according to the clients needs including, but not limited to, setting up tables and chairs, placing linens on tables, light housekeeping, and assisting clients as needed. May be required to take on additional duties including valet, greeter, coat check, maintenance, trash removal, grounds keeping, bathroom attendant and more. Ensure the cleanliness of the property by walking the grounds and disposing of trash. Keeps track of event supplies, equipment and carefully store furnishings when not in use. Promptly reports repair and maintenance needs. Will be required to stand, walk and use hands to handle equipment. Able to work outside in varying weather conditions (cold, rainy, snowy, harsh, hot, humid). Responsible for the timely and safe breakdown of meeting rooms after event completion. Maintains a friendly, dependable and reliable demeanor. Keeps a professional appearance at all times. Provides additional assistance as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: A team-player, willing to work with and support others Able to perform duties with a sense of urgency Able to lift 50 pounds independently and often Ability to work a variety of shifts including early morning, evening, weekend and holiday availability is mandatory Strong organizational and time management skills Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality, service and professionalism Maintain a valid state-issued drivers license with a current address and clean driving record Able/willing to learn to drive a golf cart Swan Lake Event Center an equal opportunity employer.
