In this position, you will leverage your experience in handling, integrating, and visualizing complex data sets, directly impacting the datas availability to the rest of the company. This collaborative position works closely with both Data Management and Data Sciences and will help to plan and strategize long-term development. Responsibilities: Meet with all Data Management and Data Sciences team members to understand ongoing projects Lead various data management projects Work with Data Sciences team to understand inputs required for a machine learning project Integrate with Data Sciences team to integrate the application of QC and analysis protocols Contribute to evaluation of data management and visualization technologies/tools used within Indigo Contribute to long term Data Management strategy development Competencies: Able to translate complex research processes into well-scoped data sets Able to translate abstract reporting requests into engaging data visualizations Superior communication skills; able to keep cross functional projects in line Able to prioritize conflicting demands Interacts well with engineering and product management Able to work well in high stress environments and frequent context switching Passion for concise and thorough documentation Passion for data and technology Comfortable with ambiguity and challenging company goals Able to work independently and drive to solutions with minimal direction Able to think big picture about data management and the linking of many different teams data Qualifications: 5+ years data management, data operations or analytics experience Broad industry experience preferred (data science, tech, life sciences, etc.) Experience working cross-functionally Experience working with agile software development teams Experience in Python, R, SQL, excel Experience in visualization frameworks (Spotfire, Tableau, Google Studio) Experience working in a fast-paced, quickly pivoting environment
