Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Fraud Data Analyst to support our Operations team. The Fraud Data Analyst will be responsible for the development and management of fraud strategies and initiatives to prevent, detect, and respond to organized crime activities targeting Continental Finance Company, and its customers. The Fraud Data Analyst will assess and identify risk, evaluate, and recommend management strategies using data analytics to reduce fraud losses, prevent, and deter fraud incidents by working cross functionally with our bank partners. ***CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)*** Essential Functions: Respond quickly to daily fraud threats by developing and implementing prevention strategies in all fraud platforms while balancing impact to operations and client experience Collaborate as a team and individually to develop, configure, and make a business decision to productionize to stop high risk fraud attacks to minimize banks' exposure to fraud losses Monitor rule performance and adapt strategies as trends evolve Balance loss decisions with the impact to operational teams and the customer experience Identifying fraud trends in complex data sets Customizing data; interpreting, analyzing, and implementing better Realtime and Non-Realtime strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality with an emphasis on automation Produce timely diagnostics to identify system, strategy, and operational issues Independently collaborate with multi-functional teams (IE product, customer experience, risk) to ensure project is executed with appropriate controls Analyze and gather functional and non-functional requirements Identify risk exposures/gaps and solution process improvement Maintain strong relationships with internal partners such as marketing, enterprise risk management, digital, product, customer service, compliance, and privacy so that fraud management is seen as an enabler to continuous improvement Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have the following: High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred 2-5 years' experience in payment processing and fraud domain Perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data to inform prevention strategy Evaluating and identifying fraud trends and engaging with internal partners to assist with investigating the root cause of losses Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc) Strong written and oral communication skills Why Continental Finance?Continental Finance Company ("CFC") is one of America's leading marketers and servicers of credit cards for consumers with less-than-perfect credit.
