We are looking for editorial graphic design interns to assist in laying out our monthly issues of New Face, Seraphina and Charley Magazines. Candidates must be very creative, have knowledge in print graphic design and typography, and must be able to follow very strict deadlines. (see how to apply below)


Candidates will have access to pre-made templates and guidelines, but creativity and original ideas are, of course, encouraged. Past experience in publishing or layout design is preferred. Please be sure to include samples of previous work in your application for consideration.


This is an unpaid, part-time position, but interns currently in college may be able to receive college credit. Since all interns will be working from home, you must have frequent Internet access to apply. Candidates who apply for this internship must be available to work up to 20 hours per week. Other small assignments may be given in-between issues.

Requirements

  • Have a good eye for fashion and entertainment editorial print design and typography
  • Have past experience creating web graphics
  • Own and have experience using Adobe InDesign (CS5 or higher)
  • Have frequent Internet and computer access
  • Be able to also design graphics and ads for use inside the magazine and website on occasion
  • Be able to follow strict weekly or biweekly deadlines during production phase
  • Be familiar with our magazine style/layout before applying
