Are you passionate about music? Do you like history - specifically the 60s folk scene? Are you seeking an opportunity to contribute to something meaningful? Are you media/social media proficient? Are you brilliant? Then you'd probably like working with us.
We are doing a wide-reaching initiative this summer to honor Bruce Langhorne, also known as "Mr. Tambourine Man." He was a brilliant musical talent, loved by people all over the world. You would work with our team on a documentary film and book project about Bruce. You will participate in research, book editing, social media, and other office administration duties.
You will read, watch movies, both narrative and documentary, listen to music, search for photos and material online, research people and events in the 60s, participate in seminars at the International Documentary Association, attend screenings at the Director's Guild, explore new forms of media and the cutting edge of technology, ie: artificial speech synthesis, commonly known as text-to-speech (TTS).
This position is in Los Angeles - Redondo Beach. (If you have strong skills and a passion for this project, we might be able to work with you remotely)
