Description

Job Overview:

Assist in overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and general aesthetic appeal of the WaterFire Arts Center prior to, during, and after in-house events. Help set up tables, chairs, and lighting in accordance with the needs of an event. Other projects may include small electrical or woodworking tasks. The individual will be working alongside the Facilities Associate to complete projects.

 

Intern will Gain Experience in:

· Building management

· Building operating systems

· Event preparation

· Basic woodworking

· Basic electrical, audio, visual

· Basic electrical repairs

· Painting

· Attend WaterFire lightings for the given season (if applicable during internship) 

 (Responsibilities will vary accordingly per the discretion of WaterFire Providence administration.)
