Description

Rapid changes in world-wide agricultural systems, along with a growing shift towards pesticides and large-scale farming, has resulted in families and communities losing their sustainable agricultural practices.

Village Volunteers partners with community based organizations in Africa and Asia that are deeply committed to sustainable farming practices and teaching organic farming methods to resource-poor farmers and youth.

We offer immersive, responsible, safe volunteer and intern opportunities at partner programs including the Mountain View Eco Farm (Nepal), Common Ground for Africa (Kenya), and the Environmental Youth Development Movement (Ghana).

Short or long term volunteer opportunities are available year round to be customized to your individual schedule.

We provide comprehensive preparation that includes an understanding of the culture and all considerations necessary for travel. The Village Volunteers program is true immersion done safely and responsibly.

Students will have a tailored internship or volunteer opportunity that will meet their goals and academic requirements. We provide ongoing support before and after a student's internship or volunteer service.
