Job Description:
In this paralegal internship, you will do a variety of tasks including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents. You will help Sports Media, Inc. in the preparation of legal arguments, opening statements, closing statements and court pleadings or motions. This will be a remote work position.
Responsibilities:
- Draft documents such as sale, vendor, and sponsorship agreements
- Searching out potential government contracts and preparing documents
- Preparing sports licensing applications
- Vendor relationship contract reviews
- Filing for trademarks and copyrights
- Trademark enforcement
- Analyze and organize research and information.
- Prepare written reports and legal documents.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
- Organize and present information.
- Other related duties
Requirements
- Current undergraduate majoring in business, economics, accounting, political science or any other related field
- Proficiency in Google Docs (Word, Excel) and Slack (teachable)
- Ability to multi-task and work proactively
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Excellent written, verbal, research, analytical and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills
- Strong operational and organization awareness.
- Familiar with Zoom for weekly calls
