A boutique sports, lifestyle and social impact tactical solutions agency is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and drivenstudent with an interest in PR, social media, and/or brand/media partnerships for a digital & social media internship. As our Digital & Social Media Intern, your role will encompass marketing, social media, brand & media partnerships, and more! The ideal candidate is resourceful and can problem-solve independently. It's essential that applicants to this position have a keen eye for social media trends and best practices and has experience managing and growing social media channels.Excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, be a self-starter and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details is a must.

Responsibilities

•   Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks

•   Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more

•   Website and social media optimization

•   Keyword analysis

•   Cost/benefit analysis

•    Help create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar

•   Track social media analytics and report results and new ideas

•   Creative feedback and viral loops between our social media accounts

•   Building and presenting social media strategy

•   Maintain and grow social media channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, & Youtube 

•   Copywriting for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn 

•   Serve as a digital liaisonbetween the community and the brand -- actively engaging and educating our member community with relevant content 

•   Attend on-site events with the purpose of gathering social content for distribution 

•   Assist with real-time interaction during events using Instagram stories/live/TV & Facebook live 

•    Seek out and engage key influencers in the business, culture, and impact space to partner with and push relevant content 

•   Assist in creating relevant member related content and news to push across social 

•   Research and propose additional marketing tactics to deploy across social platforms 

•    Run and manage social media campaigns 

•   Weekly monitoring and reporting of social media campaign effectiveness & ROI across all social media channels

•   Keep up on new social media marketing trends and actively watch what other brands are doing online

•   Intellectually curious with a strong desire to continue learning

•   Communicate effectively and work well both independently and in a group or team environment

•   Assist with social media post development and channel management 

•   Monitor for agency and client social media placements across print, broadcast and digital media

•   Monitor for trends industry specific trends and competitive landscape, including active brands, news, and engagement opportunities to reach out target demographics

•   Assist in the creation and maintenance of calendars, project tracking worksheets and other internal PR assets

•   Participate in brainstorms for upcoming events, campaigns & product releases

•   Owning, developing, and delivering an end-of-semester intern project
