Welcome to Flower Bomb Media! Do you have a passion for fashion, beauty, the creative process, mindset, wellness and lifestyle trends? Are you detailed-oriented and self-motivated? Have you ever wanted to learn more about becoming a Professional Writer/Blogger? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this would be a great opportunity for you.


Flower Bomb Media is a rapidly growing global group and we are looking for amazing writers for our publications such as Nfm, a fashion-focused magazine dedicated to bringing the newest faces in creative industries and the latest trends to readers via subscription or e-magazine; DC, aka Dreamlette, a teen magazine dedicated to the next generation of girl boss creatives; and, Soulvive, our newest addition (think revive but for the zen rebel soul). Each publication includes feature stories highlighting the latest hot topics and articles that introduce the freshest underground artists, entrepreneurs, and brands in every monthly issue and online.


As an intern your tasks will include:

  • Write, review, and edit 1-2 blog posts WEEKLY for assigned website
  • Write, review, and edit 1-2 articles MONTHLY for each digital magazine
  • Feature interviews with influencers, actors/actresses, musicians, and fashion industry professionals
  •  Attend mandatory monthly ZOOM meetings with Flower Bomb Media staff and other interns to generate ideas and pitch stories
  • Learn how to use specific keywords to increase searchability online
  • Implement SEO into your blog posts
  • Additional duties as assigned including: Fact Checking, Editorial Content calendar creation, editorial research and more!

Requirements

  • Ability to earn college or school credit a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiar with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Understanding of and the ability to write to the Millennial and older audience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Meticulous about accuracy especially in verifying facts, spelling, punctuation, grammar and usage
  • Ability to take direction, feedback and enjoy conducting in-depth research
