Description
Assist the Special Events team with multiple programs including monthly luncheons, Charity Golf Tournament, Ostrich Festival and gala events. Create event promotional materials, assist with load in/out logistics, support data collection, and various Chamber event needs.
Duties may include:
-event planning & organization from conception to completion
-drafting letters, emails, & other documents with provided content for the Chamber’s annual events
-designing invitations, posters, & brochures
-set-up, registration, & clean-up on event days
-post-event follow up using Chamber Master Membership Partners, the Chamber’s database software
-data collection and coordination

Requirements
-Declared major in Event Management, Communications, Public Relations, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, Marketing, or Tourism preferred
-Detail- oriented
-Familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
-Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
-Able to manage multiple takes simultaneously & work independently
