Please note that this is a REMOTE position. College credit and/or a letter of recommendation will be provided at the end of the internship if needed. The internship is also open to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students.


We are currently seeking skilled and experienced IT Tech Support to join the CHOYCES team! Individual tasks vary depending on the size and structure of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Set up new user accounts and profiles and solve password issues
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Review open issues on a daily basis
  • Ensure all of the required information is gathered and available prior to escalating an issue
  • Establish effective lines of communication with other Techcyte teams and management.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous (Preferred)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to be self-guided and self-motivated in daily work
  • Ability to work effectively in remote environments
  • Junior or Senior in technical discipline
  • Experience analyzing and accurately solving technical issues
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams
