Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated volunteers or interns to join our student outreach team. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our reach and connecting with student organizations, faculty members, and community engagement offices at colleges across the country. Your efforts will help us find new volunteers who can make a real difference in the lives of lonely seniors through virtual visits. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research and analysis to identify suitable student organizations, faculty members, and community engagement offices for outreach efforts.
  • Crafting personalized outreach messages to introduce Conversations to Remember and its mission to potential partners, following up, and responding to questions.
  • Tracking contacts for follow-up and metrics
  • Utilizing email communication and phone calls, as required for different types of contacts.
  • Scheduling virtual meetings to engage with interested parties and address their questions.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop new outreach strategies and continuously improve the outreach process.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing the success of outreach efforts, providing feedback to enhance future outreach initiatives.


Learn how to build relationships and network, while helping others. We'll train you about how to conduct the outreach, track your efforts, and drive next steps.


Volunteers are allowed to choose when they work, but are expected to work at least 10 hours per week, submitting these hours as volunteer hours, which can be certified. These positions are available for both internships or volunteering.
