With a strong focus on and team dedicated to clinical research, we aim to gain a high level of credibility within the emerging markets of health coaching and telehealth. We have conducted two, first of their kind, NIH-funded, independent clinical trials focused on telehealth-based health coaching, applicable to physician practices, health systems, and complementary service trials.

Total MD- Research Data Internship

Objectives:

1) Understand research and data collection methods in the health coaching and virtual services industry

2) Apply data analysis skills to different coaching delivery models (provider and employer wellness). 3) Understand research and conference presentation writing and oral skills

Job Description and Duties:

Work virtually, while still going to school and completing an internship helping others better their health through lifestyle support.

We provide off-site 100% remote lifestyle support to participants throughout the country. As a Lifestyle Health Coach, you will have the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for participants through lifestyle modification (nutrition, fitness, behavior change, and support).

You will have the opportunity learn data collection technique that support health coaching in various areas.

Total MD embraces a diverse coaching and patient population. We encourage any student that is interested in data collection in the health field to apply and receive hands on experience to coaching.

Essential Functions:

Students will be tasked with remote data collection and analysis activities.

Tasks could Include data collection, data transfer, and data analysis work.

Students may also be in contact with patients involved in scheduling or programing.

Students may also be helping with content creation such has multimedia projects and videos.

Specific skills and knowledge students(s) may gain from working on this research:

Telehealth applications, research methodology, EHR/EMR data collection, data organization, data analysis, grant writing, manuscript and conference communication preparation.
