A real estate agent internship is an opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry while working under the supervision of a licensed real estate broker or agent. The internship may include the following responsibilities:

  1. Conducting market research to identify potential properties and clients.
  2. Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, such as property listings and brochures.
  3. Participating in property tours and showings, and learning to highlight the features and amenities of each property.
  4. Assisting in client management, including responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  5. Learning to negotiate lease terms and rental rates with landlords and tenants, and facilitating lease signings.
  6. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as maintaining client records and preparing contracts.
  7. Observing and learning how to conduct credit and background checks on potential tenants.
  8. Shadowing experienced agents to learn about real estate law and regulations, and how to handle tenant complaints and concerns.

Number of positions available



To be considered for a real estate agent internship, candidates may be required to meet the following qualifications:

  1. Be enrolled in or have recently completed a degree program in business, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Have an interest in pursuing a career in real estate.
  3. Must enroll in a real estate licensing course prior the the start of the internship.
  4. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
