Description

Maker Studio SF is a dedicated maker space for young makers to learn about Fashion and Engineering. We are currently seeking designer and engineers to help with content and curriculum development for middle and high School students to teach the fundamental design and engineering skills.
**Local San Francisco/Bay Area candidates only**

Responsibilities
Embody the mission and vision of Maker Studio SF
Ensure students learn safety procedure of all tools
Plan and implement lesson plans
Scope and sequence for class for in-person class workshops,
Maintain clean and orderly classroom environments
Lead class sizes of 8 to 20 students to test new programs
Good to have/ interest in wearable tech using LED, 3D printing CNC, Electronics
Please Include: Any other skills, certifications, degrees related to fashion your experience thus far
Requirements
We are looking for canadidates with industrial design, product design or fashion design backgrounds with interest in the Maker movement.

Our classes are taught in makerspaces so you must have experience in utilizing different types of tools such as 3D printer, CAD programs (TinkerCAD and Fusion360), laser cutters, CNC machines and a basic understanding of electronics and robotics is a plus!
