Description

Associates for this position will be involved in administration-management for recording artists, record producers, and recording engineers. Activities will also involve preparing, utilizing, marketing, and maintaining sound equipment as well as software for recording sessions, & live events. There are multiple options regarding this position that are covered in detail via interview.

Responsibilities
Scheduling, & maintaining general logistics of artists performance bookings, recording sessions, composing, & evaluating compositions, arranging, producing, recording, critiquing, marketing, music are some of the activities.
Requirements
Individuals 'must' have basic experience using Avid Pro Tools on Apple computer systems this being 'mandatory'(additionally having experience micing drums, guitars, & vocals is preferable). Individuals must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma, or GED(some college is preferable) and be able to legally work in the United States, have transportation to the job, and speak english fluently. Length of internships in general are 4 to 8+ weeks with flexibility, and are non-college credit based positions.

Note: Individuals unfamiliar with Pro Tools, and seeking to learn it should look into acquiring the 'free' version of Pro Tools called 'Pro Tools First' available at Avid.com & viewing the multitude of instructional videos available online at Avid's website as well as Youtube. Please make sure to view these items prior to a potential interview.

Interview appointments are generally evenings M-F 8pm to 11pm, and Sat. 2pm to 5pm(Excluding Federal Holidays).
