Job Overview

  • Remote internship opportunity
  • Provide general editorial support for the Abrams Calendar program
  • Get exposure to the world of illustrated publishing

Responsibilities

  • Research image selections for calendars
  • Draft marketing copy and TIP sheets
  • Prepare calendar manuscripts for design
  • Manage digital assets
  • Research comparative titles in the marketplace
  • Read and evaluate layouts and proofs
  • Oversee special projects as assigned
  • Provide general administrative support

Requirements

  • Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated interest in developing editorial experience and learning about the publishing process
