Job Overview

RS&H, Inc. is seeking three (3) Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering Interns to join our Aerospace team for Summer 2024 in Merritt Island, Florida. As an intern in RS&H's Aerospace and Equipment Service Group, you will collaborate with specialized design teams on studies and designs of systems engineering and ground support equipment supporting the Aerospace industry. Duties will include fabrication shop site visits, performing engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications, and on-site client support. An understanding of launch and space vehicle systems requirements is a plus, and excitement for supporting space exploration is required.

  • Collaborate with specialized design teams on studies and designs of systems engineering and ground support equipment.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and develop drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct fabrication shop site visits and provide on-site client support.
  • Work as an integral member of a multi-discipline engineering team.


  • Current or pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, or equivalent degree.
  • Working knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD, NASTRAN, CREO, SolidWorks, or other CAD platform.
  • Ability to work within a multi-discipline engineering team.
  • A motivated self-starter with an open mind and a great attitude.
  • Strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values.
  • US citizenship or permanent legal residency is required due to the nature of client projects.
