Job Overview
Sesame Workshop is seeking a Digital Production Intern for its Fall 2022 Internship. As an intern with the Digital Production department, you will work closely with digital producers, curriculum specialists, and UX designers to provide production assistance, quality assurance for interactive projects, web content updates, research, and concept brainstorming or copywriting for digital initiatives. This part-time internship offers valuable hands-on experience in a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children grow smarter, stronger, and kinder.
Compensation
DOE (Depends on Experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide production assistance, including light-coding, database, analytics, and graphics work
- Conduct quality assurance for a variety of interactive projects
- Update web content using Drupal and WordPress CMS
- Conduct research for various projects, including competitive landscape analysis and potential digital vendors
- Occasionally participate in concept brainstorming and copywriting for digital initiatives
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student specializing in computer science, game development, and/or digital production
- Experience with web development, HTML5, Unity coding, SQL, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, graphic design, Drupal or WordPress CMS, and/or Google Analytics 360 preferred
- Interest in Education or Early Childhood Education (preferred, but not required)
- Portfolio/work samples preferred
