Job Overview
As an intern in our Facilities Engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating the design and construction of facilities, installation of new equipment, and renovation and repair projects. You will gain valuable experience in solving complex engineering problems and working on various architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical projects. This internship will provide exposure to the facilities of Textron Aviation in Wichita.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate contractors and consulting engineers for facilities design, construction, renovation, and repair
- Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and provide progress status
- Conduct design and economic evaluations, and prepare technical reports
- Assist with capital projects and long-range strategic planning
- Support energy conservation and manufacturing equipment installation projects
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software to update facility drawings and records
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Construction Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or other related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit preferred
- Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of application
