2024 Internship - Information Systems - Business Systems Analyst Description JOB SUMMARY: Business Systems Analysts (BSA) are responsible for the development and management of business, organizational, and/or operational requirements; as well as being involved in business systems in support of core organization functions and business processes. The business analyst elicits, analyzes, validates, and documents business requirements. BSAs support the following fields within the IT organization: Business Intelligence, Customer Service, Digital Solutions, Engineering Systems & Product Development, Infrastructure, ITRM, Project Management and SAP. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Business data gathering and analysis Development of test scripts, test plans and scenarios Project management and status updates Team interaction and collaboration on projects Participate in developing business process improvements and troubleshooting issues Internal functional interaction and support Qualifications EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in: o Management Information Systems o Computer Science o Other related technical fields QUALIFICATONS: Professional and diplomatic demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Action oriented and seizes opportunities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks Technical Aptitude and skill set Good business acumen and business process knowledge Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well Possesses good organizational and time management skills. Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship. Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks. Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager. Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws.
