Primary Location: United States (US) - Moline, IL & Des Moines, IA Function: Data Science & Analytics Title: Data Analytics Summer Intern 2024a - 101463 The Data Science & Analytics Intern program is for students that have completed at least one year of their Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program, and are looking for a 2-3 month summer internship. Our analytics internship will provide an opportunity to apply your data science and data engineering skills to solve business problems within a specific department and functional area. Opportunities exist across varied functional areas such as Financial Services, IT, Precision Agriculture, Customer & Product Support, Supply Management, Sales & Marketing, Order Fulfillment & Engineering. What will you do? Lead and/or support key analytics projects Manage and work with large, diverse data sets Learn and apply appropriate data science and data engineering techniques to solve business problems Collaborate with data and analytics colleagues as well as key business stakeholders Do you have what it takes? Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative discipline Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Knowledge of applied statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and data visualization methods Ability to demonstrate your development of algorithms and predictive models to solve a problem Proficiency in programming languages SQL, R, Python, and/or SAS Some positions may be eligible for remote work.
